About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Grants & Finance Facilitator to join Oxford Cancer Centre's support team. The Grants and Finance Facilitator will play a pivotal role in supporting with the smooth management of the Centre's complex, multi centre grant portfolio as well as playing an instrumental role in the standardising and continued improvement of finance processes and procedures.

You will be responsible for a range of activities, including supporting the financial administration of the Centre's initiatives to promote collaborative research across the University, nationally and internationally,maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of sponsors' financial terms and conditions, and assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

The post is offered full-time.

The post is based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE.

About you

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have relevant financial accounting experience. You will have demonstrable experience of using computerised accounting systems and excellent IT skills, including advanced use of Excel. Strong communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential. Relevant experience within the University or similar research based organisation will be advantageous.
