    The Opportunity

    The Graduate Research Programs and Engagement Officer provides a range of high-level administrative services to support the Programs and Engagement Team strategies, programs and initiatives. This role will play a key part in planning and coordinating the effective delivery of professional development to Graduate Research Students and Supervisors, graduate research projects and events, supervisor accreditation, and support of industry internships in the Monash Doctoral Program.

    The Graduate Research Programs and Engagement Officer will be required to plan, implement and manage a range of complex administrative tasks to meet the operational demands of the team and will have particular focus on supervisory matters including accreditation of graduate research supervisors and the appointment of supervisors to graduate research student supervisory teams in accordance with Monash University regulations, policies and procedures.

    To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have excellent organisational and administration skills as well as great interpersonal skills. Experience in higher education, more specifically graduate research and research degree student administration will also be beneficial in this role.
