Faculty of Health and Life Sciences

The post

The Faculty wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to support the work of Professor Clive Ballard. This post is available from the 1st July 2024. The successful applicant will support our portfolio of nursing home studies. This will be a fixed term position until 31/12/2024. This is a remote position.

The post will include supporting nursing homes participating in our ongoing research and implementation studies, conducting research assessments and contributing to study recruitment. The post holder will also contribute to the entry and checking of research data, to the analysis of results and to the writing of research outputs.. .

About you

The successful applicant will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.

Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.
