The applicant should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written). Candidates must be computer proficient (Microsoft Excel and Google apps), enthusiastic, outgoing and willing to learn and take on multiple tasks. The applicant must be reliable, self-disciplined, and trustworthy. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements as outlined in the Graduate Assistant Guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The majority of this position's time is engaged in a range of duties such as:

  • Library searches
  • Literature reviews
  • Preparation of research proposals and/or grants
  • Work with assigned faculty on research projects
  • Assist student with writing
  • Other duties may include:

  • Administrative responsibilities
  • Assist with grading assignments
  • Working in the Simulation Center with faculty, staff and students.
