  • About the Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Global Partnerships Coordinator to join our Global Relations team at Swinburne University. The team works across Swinburne to ensure the effective integration of the University's global programs and international relations and to advance its reputation.

    As the Global Partnerships Coordinator, you will manage the establishment and review of international agreements in line with an integrated and streamlined approach to global partnerships across Swinburne. You will support the development and administration of Swinburne's international academic agreements (for general collaboration, transnational education, student mobility, and student articulation) and the implementation of international agreement procedures.

    In addition to this, you will assist with the coordination and hosting of inbound and outbound delegations and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in office administration preferably in an education environment, with experience in interpreting and implementing organisational policies and procedures relating to administration.
  • High-level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to operate with minimal direction, plan and organise own work, coordinate several projects simultaneously, and monitor and follow up on assignments to meet tight timelines.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to professionally draft presentations, correspondence, minutes and reports for senior university staff
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal communication and public relations skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Experience working in international education in Australia with knowledge of the Australian educational systems and frameworks, and government policy regulating education exports and the international student experience is preferred.
  • Qualifications

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and substantial subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
