Full-time Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Project Development Officer) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 524124) (to commence as soon as possible to August 31, 2024).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Science, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Language or a related discipline with at least 3 years' full-time work experience, preferably in educational projects. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with NGOs, event management, cross-institutional projects, stakeholder engagement and coordination, local schools and teachers, or in journalism and media field, marketing and promotion, and project dissemination. They should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines proactively and efficiently. They should also possess good stakeholder management skills, being detailed-oriented with an analytical mindset; the ability to work independently, as a team, under pressure and multi-task; and advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing. Familiarity with Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar tools, script writing and video production is an advantage.

The appointee will work on a large-scale educational project on learner diversity, being primarily engaged in project-related activities. He/She will be responsible for providing developmental and implemental assistance to the project; coordinating with and engaging different teams and school stakeholders in terms of project dissemination; assisting the Project Manager in terms of planning and executing strategies to promote the project and dissemination; ensuring consistent and effective communication of the project's positioning; preparing promotional and dissemination events and materials; and performing other duties as assigned. The appointee will work collaboratively with other team members. Immediate availability is preferred. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
