Full-time Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Applied Oral Sciences & Community Dental Care, Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 531141) (to commence as soon as possible for a period of twelve months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or above in medicine, dentistry, education, social sciences, or a related discipline. They should demonstrate good knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative analysis; have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (advantage); have good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility; and be capable of managing various aspects of a project and meeting deadlines.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing a teaching development project for year II dental undergraduate students that involves experiential/enrichment learning.

The appointee is required to conduct and coordinate the activities, including:

  • Preparation of surveys and questionnaires;
  • Literature review, data collection, management and analysis, manuscript writing
  • Communication with the different staff members and partners in promoting cross-disciplinary research;
  • Arrange focus group discussions/workshops with the students;
  • Arrange information-sharing sessions;
  • Support in preparation of guidebook/handbook, poster, and conference presentations;
  • Support in the preparation of publications and establishing various social media platforms;
  • Coordinating relevant events or activities; and
  • Other related duties assigned.
