The School is inviting applications for Teaching Assistant position (part- time or full-time) to support pharmacy undergraduate, postgraduate programmes and short courses.
The appointee will assist in (a) teaching and learning projects; (b) teaching and learning activities, including grading assignment and preparation of teaching materials; (c) supporting on-site and web-based teaching; (d) provide administrative support to the programmes and handle student affairs; (e) managing the teaching and learning platform; and (f) undertaking other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have strong academic credentials, with (i) a Bachelor's degree or above, and preferably a master's degree or above in healthcare related disciplines; (ii) a high proficiency in Chinese and English, in both spoken and written language; and (iii) good interpersonal and communication skills. Prior training in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, drug dispensing would be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for 1-2 year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
