Full/Part-time Research Assistant II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 530496) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology, social sciences, sport science or related disciplines. They should have a good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; good communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of basic statistics; proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and English and Chinese word processing. They should be a self-motivated and an organized team player. Experience in research and using SPSS for data analysis is highly preferred. A keen interest in psycho-oncology research would be an advantage.
The appointee will conduct cancer patient recruitment in clinical settings; perform face-to-face/phone assessments with patients; assist in data analysis and compiling progress report; and perform other duties as assigned. He/She will work closely with the multidisciplinary team of the HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care on an implementation study.
