About the Role
Are you trained in Oracle Financials and looking for a secondment opportunity in an interesting and dynamic department? You will lead on all aspects of financial management including quarterly forecasting, month-end processes and financial control, with an emphasis on improving and streamlining current practices. You will be working closely with the department's administration team and will have many opportunities to learn about the work of the department and to get really involved, communicating with staff at all levels. This role also offers the opportunity for hybrid working.
About You
You will preferably be Oracle-trained with excellent financial skills and experience. You will need great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work whilst balancing routine and urgent tasks. You will be methodical with excellent attention to numerical detail, a great problem- solver with good communication skills.
About Us
Student Welfare and Support Services (SWSS) is a department with the Academic Administration Division (AAD) of the University. Our department includes the Counselling Service, Disability Advisory Service and Sexual Harassment & Violence Support Service. The services are located within the same building and work collaboratively to provide coherent and easily accessible support to all students.
