The Finance team at the University of Greenwich are looking for a Finance Business Partner who can make an impact and actively contribute to a very friendly (and humorous) team atmosphere.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the business partner for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences and other areas. This involves:
  • Being part of the leadership team, ensuring commercial viability and financial discipline
  • Looking back: monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Looking ahead: setting next year's budget and the 5 year plan, plus maintaining in year forecasts
  • Creating estates related business cases:

  • Helping analyse costs and benefits of refurbishing existing facilities or constructing new ones (learning spaces, accommodation, net zero equipment, physio facilities)

  • Tracking the University wide estates & facilities investment plan
  • Being the financial controller for joint venture agreements with two other Universities
