Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a Finance Administrator to join the Finance team.

About the role

The role will be responsible for providing a shared service across the Department for raising purchase requisitions and for obtaining authorisation to process large invoices for payment from the Director of Finance and Administration. You will require an understanding of the duties of the Finance Administrator (Payables) roles to provide cross cover and to develop and provide additional controls and reporting for the Finance Manager. This is customer facing involving both students and suppliers.

This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract.

About you

You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, basic knowledge of accounting principles, and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You will demonstrate experience of working with data to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and an ability to work flexibly to deadlines.
