About the role

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Finance Administrator to play a crucial role in managing our finances, including purchasing, invoice processing, and budget monitoring.

You will support the Finance Manager in the provision of effective and efficient operational financial management services across the Faculty, ensuring compliance with the University's financial regulations and procedures. You will provide advice to academics and other staff on day-to-day financial matters, including the budgetary position for departments, monitoring of research grants and other activities within the Faculty, providing timely, regular and accurate financial information.

In fulfilling these functions, you will foster and maintain a collaborative working relationship with the Faculty Accountant and fellow members of the Finance Office and influence staff to apply good financial practice and planning.

This position is offered on a part-time basis for 21.9 hours per week (Monday-Wednesday). The team use a hybrid working model with a mix of on- campus and remote work.
