Your new role

Curtin University has an opportunity for a Fieldwork Administrative Assistant to join the Faculty of Health Sciences. This is a varied position where you will support and engage with a range of stakeholders across the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for any general fieldwork enquiries.
  • Keeping databases up to date with students and placement information.
  • Verifying mandatory compliance documents required from students prior to taking part in clinical placements.
  • Ensuring that documents and records are maintained in a confidential manner.
  • Collating information required to generate reports and area activities.
  • Essential Criteria

  • Experience in general administrative support and data entry.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to organise your time and work activities according to priorities and to meet deadlines.
  • Highly Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with using multiple software systems in a corporate or education environment.
  • Familiarity or previous experience in the health industry (Highly Desirable).
  • As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
