Fetching Team Supervisor

Applications are invited for the post of Fetching Team Supervisor within Collection Logistics and Services, part of the Collection Development & Management Division based at Cambridge University Libraries' West Road site.

Reporting to the Collection Logistics Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the Collection User Service Assistants (CUSAs) who provide a range of on-site fetching, shelving, and book moving activities on a daily basis. You will be responsible for collecting and maintaining statistics, data entry, checking of bibliographic information and using the Library Management System (LMS) to enable departmental activities. As the first point of contact for all fetching, book moving and shelving enquiries across the West Road Site, you will need to provide professional and timely responses to enquiries.

You will need to work closely with Reader and Information Services, manage multiple service demands, and recognise when to escalate problems to their line manager. This role will be integral in enabling the provision of Collection and Reader Services. Further information on the duties of the role can be found in the Further Particulars.
