  • The Department of Interior Design and Merchandising is looking for 4 Federal Work Study Students to work as Merchandise and Textile Lab Assistants, helping:

  • · Prepare Sample Kits with Fibers, yarns, and fabric swatches.

  • · Work with the textile digital Image Inventory (training to be provided)
  • · Acquire samples and work with contacts/research.
  • · Work with an inventory of historical garments, storage, organization, and identifying clothing/accessories from local stores.
  • · Intake and process of donations/inventory.
  • · Organize the store for appealing visual displays and customer ease.
  • · Assist patrons in meeting varying needs and appropriate merchandise selection.
  • · Organize the textile lab or retail space.
  • · Other duties or tasks as assigned.

    • Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

  • Ability to handle small equipment
  • Organizations skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Adaptable to changes in learning environment
