    Job Title Federal Work Study - Facilities Assistant for HVAC and Electrical - Jamestown

    Full Time/Part Time Job Description Provides general assistance to the HVAC and Electrical Maintenance teams Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and completes repairs as needed Documents completed repairs and future work requests for new equipment Duties/Functions

  • Reviews daily HVAC maintenance tasks with supervisors
  • Assists with or performs repairs as needed

    • Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and provides reports about completed work Difficult Challenges

  • Significant climbing and/or crawling
  • Environmental hazards: 30 – 70%
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must have completed one semester of coursework with a 2.0 GPA

    • Education Preferred Experience Required Experience Preferred

  • HVAC and electrical repair work
  • Knowledge of general safety procedures when repairing or conducting diagnostic work

    • KSA Required KSA Preferred

  • Basic customer service skills
