Position Description Summary:	The Greater Washington Anesthesia Network (GWAN), an independent private-academic practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. GWAN provides anesthesia services for George Washington University Hospital and/or Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, which serves the District’s population, primarily in Wards 7 and 8. These non-tenure-track positions, expected to start as early as January 2027, will be filled at a rank (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:	Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, participating in administrative duties, teaching learners, and pursuing scholarly interests. Generalists and those with fellowship training and/or subspecialty expertise in Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, Obstetric Anesthesiology, Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology and Transplant Anesthesia are invited to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:	Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology and license-eligible in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
Advertised Salary:	$530,000 - $560,000
