Job Title FACULTY-COMPUTER PROGRAMMING AND ANALYTICSPosition Status Full Time Classification Title Faculty-9 month Work Location Main Campus - 3600 N Garfield St, Midland, TX 79705 Job Summary
Teach material from the approved curriculum and develop daily lesson plans, including instructional aids. Participate in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc. Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively. Complete professional development and in-service activities following college standards. Maintain expertise in the subject area and recommend improvements in curriculum design. If applicable, instruct students in laboratory safety procedures and provide instructional support to the Chair, Dean, and students. This position will also assist in recruitment efforts for the program.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or Computer-based Information Systems (e.g., management, decision, data-processing) or Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching field Minimum of three years in a related field Knowledge of at least one programming language, Microsoft Office, and database management Experience working with learning management systems; Canvas preferred Communication skills with public speaking and organization skills

Essential Functions
Teach courses offered in the Computer Programming and Analytics program to include: Java, C, ASP.NET, Android, SQL, Database Management, and Microsoft Office Demonstrate safe and effective use of all classroom and lab equipment Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the students Work with representatives of local businesses to further the program and enhance the instructional resources Attend advisory committee meetings Participate in recruiting and counseling activities Work may require a split day and evening work schedule Other duties as assigned

Ability to perform work in a classroom and online teaching environment Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Use of manual dexterity Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Work may require a split day and evening work schedule The person in this position frequently communicates with students; must be able to exchange accurate information. The person in this position must occasionally move from office to classroom or other locations on campus
Security Sensitivity

Min Salary $51,878 per year Max Salary $63,405 per year Pay Statement Salary is commensurate with educational qualifications and experience.
