About Us:

Position Overview:

As an FSA, you'll report to and work under the direct supervision of our Facilities Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

• Executing general building-related tasks within our managed sites, as directed and within your competency.

• Handling various security-related duties, such as identity verification, opening and closing procedures, and radio communication.

• Conducting routine building checks, documenting findings, and reporting issues as needed.

• Performing minor local repairs within our buildings and reporting faults via our Planon system.

• Ensuring a high standard of safety, in compliance with regulations such as HASAW, COSHH, and Manual Handling.

• Assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of our building exteriors, car parks, and cycle storage areas.

• Setting up and clearing meeting/lecture rooms, contributing to the smooth flow of academic and administrative activities.

• Liaising with our University suppliers and service providers when appropriate.
