The University of Oxford, Begbroke Science Park is entering a new phase of ambitious development and expansion, and we are looking to appoint a full time, permanent Facilities Technician to join the Facilities Management team.

Working as part of a small team you will contribute to the day-to-day reactive maintenance, repairs and servicing of Science Park grounds, buildings, and equipment.

The successful candidate will possess a good level of demonstrable building maintenance skills and have experience in plumbing, heating and ventilation systems, carpentry, general decorating, and minor electrical works. Experience of working in building maintenance in lab-based environments would be an advantage.

You will be knowledgeable in Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH and Manual Handling Regulations.

You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service at all times, including handling, and resolving enquiries from building users together with the ability to use your own initiative, work independently and also to work effectively as part of a busy team.
