How will you contribute?
In this role, you lead and manage the information technology services in LIST
including IT communication and networks, IT operations, information systems
development, information security, and all services or initiatives related to
corporate IT/IS and IT security. You serve as the principal technology leader
for developing and implementing information technology strategies and
initiatives to support LIST business activities. Ideally you have a high level
of familiarity with LIST business processes both administrative and RDI,
combined to a good overview of the various constituents and a good
understanding of the diverse IT/IS needs existing across all departments or
units.
You are dedicated and based on your previous experience, you can anticipate
and maintain a vision for the future IT/IS needs. As manager, you define
strategies, priorities, and projects; It does include the definition of
technology investments including cost/benefit analysis, ensuring the best use
of LIST resources. You lead and manage your team members and, as per so, you
are accountable for the performance and results of your unit.
Among others, your duties include:
Leading the development of a strategic direction for the LIST information
technology services anticipating the diverse needs, monitoring trends, and
developing and implementing long / short-term plans.
Ensuring IT data security, IT risk management, IT disaster recovery and
business continuity planning processes are in place and receiving regular
review.
Ensuring the security of IT systems and operations adhere to applicable
laws and regulations.
Exercising diligent evaluation and careful budgetary management, including
preparation of annual budget particular to the IT unit and follow up its
execution.
Developing, implementing, and overseeing IT/IS policies and processes,
which means ensuring a good level of service and effectiveness.
Providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to teams under your
responsibility. It includes developing and organising IT/IS talent
management to ensure efficient delivery of services across the
organization.
Maintaining the good operations and strategic development of information,
communications infrastructure and systems infrastructure.
Establishing the IT unit goals, objectives and operating procedures.
Assessing and identifying the most cost-effective investment on IT
systems, product purchases and/or in-house development activities.
Prioritizing and controlling the IT project demands; negotiating
priorities and timelines as appropriate and necessary.
Performing other duties and functions as assigned.

As to join us, you:
Master's degree in a technology related area, Business Administration, or
other field of study, with significant relevant IT/IS work experience.
Extensive experience in all aspects of information technology planning,
development and implementation, including but not limited to enterprise
resource planning (ERP), systems architecture, telecommunications,
database administration, Web and social media development and security and
compliance issues.
Broad technical knowledge and skills on computing, telecommunications, and
technologies.
Demonstrated experience with IT budgeting and personnel management.
Demonstrated experience and skills in negotiating with vendors,
contractors, and others.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent presentation skills and effective oral and written communication
capabilities in EN/FR.
Strong commitment to customer service.
