Executive Officer in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 528578) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed- term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years' solid administrative working experience, preferably in a tertiary institution, public organization, or NGO. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and IT competence including proficiency in MS Office.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in marketing and publicity, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He/she should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision. He/she should also be responsible, proactive, attentive to detail, and tactful in handling sensitive and confidential issues. Candidate with strong background in marketing and publicity, and experience with community outreach programs would be highly desirable.
The appointee will assist the Project-in-charge in implementing and overseeing the marketing and publicity aspects of the Jockey Club Children Oral Health Project. This will involve developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, creating promotional materials, managing social media accounts, and organizing outreach events. He/she will also be responsible for liaising with external partners and stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships, and conducting market research to ensure the project remains relevant and effective.
Working off-campus and outside normal office hours and on weekends are required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of the basic salary.
