Executive Officer in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 525915) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree or Diploma preferably in Marketing, communication, public relations, creative media or related disciplines, with at least 3 years' relevant experience in digital marketing, social media strategies, and event management. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently with initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team player with the ability to multitask and be very attentive to details. Proven experience and demonstrated track record in one or more of the following areas are essential: (i) event /project management; (ii) social media content creation and design; proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop and Camtasia); and (iii) writing and editing skills.
The appointee will oversee the School's publicity activities, including (i) designing and creating social content (including but not limited to infographics and videos) on School social media platforms; (ii) analyzing and promoting the effectiveness and performance of social media/marketing campaigns; (iii) managing and coordinating outreach activities; and (iv) performing ad-hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
