Executive Officer in the School of Clinical Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 525736) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 3 years' work experience, preferably in higher education or healthcare sector or of a related field. An excellent command of English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage); a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills are essential. They should be a good team player, reliable, self-motivated, attentive to details, able to work independently, and able to multi-task efficiently. Experience in (1) healthcare sector, (2) managing Mainland China related affairs and/or (3) working with Mainland organisations will be advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with a high level of computer/IT literacy.

The appointee will play a versatile role at the HKU Health System, the umbrella executive arm overseeing and supporting the LKS Faculty of Medicine's clinical enterprises, including clinical governance, legal compliance, liaison with public and private affiliate teaching hospitals, introduction of new clinical service initiatives, and participate in the redevelopment projects of public teaching hospitals. Occasional travelling may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
