Executive Officer (several posts) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526099) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably with at least 2 years' solid administrative and supervisory experience in tertiary education; OR a Higher Diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in tertiary education. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; exceptional interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; sharp attention to details; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills. They should also be a good team player who could handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
The appointees will play a versatile role in leading junior executive and clerical staff to support the Department's administration in various areas including general office administration, human resources management, finance administration, secretarial and committee support, teaching and learning and/or event organization; and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
