Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Programme Manager) in the Academic Liaison Office of the Registry (Ref: 524619) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

The Academic Liaison Office, which includes International Affairs Office, Mainland Affairs Office and HKU Summer Institute, is dedicated to promoting academic exchanges and fostering collaboration with Mainland and overseas institutions.

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree, preferably with at least 2 years' work experience in tertiary institutions. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); the ability to work independently with initiative; good interpersonal and organisational skills; and the ability to lead projects and work under pressure.

The appointee will be responsible for liaising with Mainland partners and internal/external stakeholders, organising networking activities, coordinating event logistics, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Office Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Occasional travelling may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
