Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531269) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).
Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, with at least 4 years of full-time work experience in the field of programme management, learning and development, and student advisory preferably in a tertiary institution. Applicants should be passionate about assisting students in their career strategy development and have a good understanding of the career development needs of students. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage), be a good team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and being able to work on their own initiative under tight deadlines. Commitment to quality and results, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are essential qualities.
The appointee will assist in overseeing the operation of the Faculty's undergraduate career-related and student enrichment programmes, provide support to academic/corporate partners and other external parties. He/she is expected to work closely with students and different stakeholders to provide career coaching and training activities and foster strong relationships with external coaches and training providers. He/she will be expected to manage the project management and overall logistics of learning and development activities, having a strong sense of stakeholder management and sense of ownership. He/she will also engage in organising various career-oriented events and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. Occasional travelling and work outside the normal office hours may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
