Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Manager) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, School of Public Health (Ref.: 526823), on a two-year fixed-term basis, and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should have effective communication skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and computer literacy. They should be mature, decisive, task-oriented, and able to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders.
The appointee will report to the Administrative Manager to support the daily operations of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute (GHI). He/She will be involved in the establishment of the GHI; assist in a wide range of administrative functions including project planning and management, progress reporting and secretarial work, human resources, budgeting and financial matters, space planning and utilization, office management; liaise with internal and external stakeholders; and perform other duties as assigned.
