| Position Purpose | The Executive Associate Athletics Director for Sport Administration serves as a member of the Director of Athletics and Recreation’s varsity sports senior leadership team, providing strategic leadership, project management, and day-to-day operational direction across all varsity sports programs. This position co-leads the administration of all varsity sports programs, including direct oversight of select varsity sports programs, supervises a team of sport administrators, and drives cross-departmental initiatives from planning through execution. This role is responsible for helping develop and promote the department’s mission across assigned programs and for building the project management infrastructure (timelines, resourcing plans, performance tracking) that supports departmental decision-making. |
| Description | Join the Varsity Administration team to impact Dartmouth Athletics and Recreation. Sport administrators provide day-to-day administrative oversight and support to Dartmouth’s 35 varsity sports, over 100 coaches, and nearly 900 student-athletes. They serve as the primary point of contact for issues related to their respective sport programs and work collaboratively with head coaches to support program goals and broader departmental priorities. In this role, sport administrators help enhance the quality of Big Green programs while ensuring student-athletes have a meaningful and enriching experience. They also oversee key operational areas including compliance with NCAA and Ivy League rules, home contest event management, and monitoring student-athlete academic progress. |
