Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Academic Advising and Scholarships Office of the Registry (Ref.: 528664) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated team player to join the Academic Advising Team of our office. The appointee will provide administrative support to the general office, attend to student enquiries on study-related matters, and manage the social media accounts of the office. He/she will assist in event publicity and logistics, maintain close contact with student helpers and liaise with Faculties, Departments and other administrative units on various matters. He/she will also assist in providing secretarial support to University committee and perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with at least one year's work experience. Fresh graduates with a “can-do” mindset will also be considered. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; and IT proficiency. They should demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and self-initiative at work, enjoy interacting with students, and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
