The Role:
The University of Cambridge is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Estates Division's Finance Team.
The successful candidate will provide the highest level of professional administration and support to the Head of Estates Finance and the Finance Team . They will undertake duties of an administrative nature and to maintain the efficient and effective management of time and workflow.
The role holder will carry out a range of administrative duties varying from; managing diaries, assessing the availability and wishes of Head of Estates Finance to meet, set up a wide range of complex internal and external meetings both in Cambridge and elsewhere, manage the schedule of meetings, plan and manage the overall working day to ensure an appropriate balance of meetings and manage all meeting follow up activity.
This role includes liaising with various stakeholders within the department as well as outside the Finance section.
About you:
To be successfully in this role you will need strong knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (to a high presentation standard.) as they will be required to amend, maintain and format multiple documents for members of the Finance Estates team. The role requires the ability to work with others, sometimes under pressure and to demanding timetables with resilience and good humour as part of a team of professional staff.
In addition, you will need to be highly organised and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working as an EA would also be beneficial.
