Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine ( Ref.: 524417) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 1 year's work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and English; good knowledge of MS Office and common IT applications (including Chinese word processing, Excel and database management); good organizational and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently, multi-task under pressure, and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines under minimal supervision. They should also be highly motivated, a fast learner and good team player, self-motivated and attentive to details.

The appointee will mainly focus on the general works related to the Mainland China. They will provide secretarial, administrative and research support to the professoriate staff of the Department including budget management for research projects, handling financial accounting matters, recruitment of research staff, arranging meetings and travel logistics; provide research/administrative support and related services to other team members; and perform other duties as assigned.
