    RMIT Europe is seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Assistant to join the EU Project Office and support the implementation of the EU funded projects. The assistant will be providing administrative support to the EU Projects Office, RMIT Europe's research fellows and other staff involved in EU-funded projects to guarantee an efficient implementation and delivery of the projects.

  • Completion of university studies in Spain in economics and business, law, international affairs or related fields – completed within three years or five years (for persons with a disability)

  • Not previously contracted in training ( contrato en prácticas ) for more than one year in a different company

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management and numeracy skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high volume, changing environment

  • Self-motivation, attention to detail and the ability to maintain the accuracy of information from a variety of sources

  • Good computer literacy across a wide range of programs and applications

    What will you be accountable for?

  • Support in monitoring the development and fulfilment of project's tasks and deliverables and guaranteeing correct execution of the obligations derived from the projects' grant agreements.

  • Support in the control of the eligibility of justifiable expenses, ensure compliance with the grant agreement and with RMIT Europe procurement processes.

  • Keep up to date the projects databases, monitoring tools and distribution lists.

  • Support the Senior Manager in preparing reports and documentation and other administrative/operational tasks as required, such as purchase orders and supplier management.

  • Provide support to the finance team and the EU Project Office Senior Manager in the budget monitoring and in the record keeping for audits.

  • Participate as an effective and flexible member of the team and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through assisting with streamlining processes and support services.

  • Undertake other duties as directed by line manager and/or the EU Projects Office Senior Manager.
