About the post
RCSI Estate and Support Services Department are a seeking to appoint an Estates Services Manager to be based at the new RCSI Education and Research Centre in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. The new ERC facility is due to open to RCSI Students and Staff in September 2023. The building will also accommodate new HSE Hospital Laboratories. This is a complex building, of over 4,100m2 over three floors. RCSI will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility in line with industry best practice and applicable service level agreements, ensuring students, staff and lab services receive a world class customer experience.
In addition to the new ERC facility RCSI retains an existing facility (GEM Building 600m2) in Connolly Hospital which will fall under the responsibility of the Estates Services Manager. RCSI plan to invest further in Connolly Hospital in the coming years so this role presents excellent opportunities for career progression and development.
There will be line management responsibilities associated with the role, with the planned recruitment of Estate Services Operatives and also management of key outsourced services such as cleaning and security.
General:
The primary objective of the role is the operational management of the RCSI facilities in Connolly Hospital, including all maintenance and operations, statutory compliance, cleaning, security, catering, room booking, portering, reception and so forth.
