This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term for three years.

At the University of Westminster, diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity are at the core of how we engage with students, colleagues, applicants, visitors and all our stakeholders. The University's People Culture and Wellbeing department are looking to expand their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team in order to drive the delivery of the inclusivity objectives within the Being Westminster Strategy, as well as work in collaboration with the EDI Committee and embed delivery of the EDI Strategy and goals.

The EDI Accreditations Project Lead will be responsible for the coordination of applications for EDI charter marks, including Athena Swan, as well as running the relevant programmes. You will support the EDI Manager and work alongside senior colleagues to develop and define priorities in line with University strategy aims and ambitions, providing advice on best practise in order to develop a university wide approach to achieve Athena Swan awards. You will manage the Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team, as well as assist and advise on all university policies relating to charter marks.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate practical experience of managing a successful Athena Swan submission. You will have strong project management skills, with a relevant qualification, as well as experience in developing and reviewing policy, guidance and processes. You should be a highly effective communicator and have experience of presenting to a wide variety of audiences. You will have a passion and commitment to social justice and EDI, sharing the University's values.
