The University of York is home to an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded Doctoral Training Programme (DTP). The DTP is a uniquely flexible pilot programme aimed at addressing barriers to entry for students from non-standard backgrounds.
Therefore we are seeking a highly motivated DTP Manager to be based in the Chemistry Student Services team. The Manager will work closely with the DTP Management Team, colleagues in the Student Services team, industrial partners and other external stakeholders. The role will also include extensive liaison with relevant University professional support teams to support the ongoing running of the programme, and management of the grant.

RoleThis role requires an experienced and dynamic individual who has experience of building effective relationships with a very diverse range of stakeholders. Someone who has the ability to respond proactively to unique challenges with highly developed interpersonal skills. Ideally someone with an affinity for supporting and being an advocate for Postgraduate Researchers to facilitate their participation on this programme whilst they remain employed in industry.
