  • About the Role The Enrolment Specialist Coordinator position, reporting to the Deputy Director of Enrolment and Graduation Services, plays a crucial role in delivering enrolment-related services at a high standard to Higher Education and Vocational Education students and colleagues throughout the University. These services are time-sensitive and of significant importance to students, involving tasks such as managing advanced standing applications, assisting with study plan adjustments, and overseeing course completion.

    A key responsibility of this role is to serve as an escalation point for stakeholders and the Enrolment Specialist team, ensuring that students adhere to course rules and addressing any complex enrolment issues that may impact their progress. The Enrolment Specialist Coordinator is also tasked with identifying opportunities for process and policy enhancements to streamline tasks for both students and staff, collaborating with the Deputy Director to implement these improvements continuously.

    Additionally, the role involves establishing support services to aid students in completing their enrolment, adapting to the evolving needs of the student population. The incumbent must be flexible in working across the team to meet operational requirements and facilitate staff development initiatives.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant experience in the coordination of student / client service functions and demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services to a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to establish and communicate clear priorities from competing demands
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of service, quality and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues
  • Qualifications Knowledge or training equivalent to:

  • a degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or
  • extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields
