Description

Under the direction of the Student Recruitment Enquiries Team Leader and as a member of the team, you will provide support on all enquiries coming in to the department via phone, reception, email and other communication portals. All activities should be undertaken to support in the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient enquiry service with a flexible approach to working.

A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the team with responsibility for handling enquiries, assisting with data tasks and supporting the customer focus of the department.

It is essential that you possess good IT skills, excellent communication skills, experience of working within an office or customer focused environment and attention to detail. An understanding of or experience in the Higher Education sector would also be desirable.

You will:

  • contributes to the delivery of an effective and flexible admissions and enquiries service as appropriate
  • co-ordinate the enquiries service provided by the department ensuring a schedule for reception cover and direction of enquiries taking account of customer demand and variations in staffing levels
  • contribute to the delivery of an effective and flexible admissions and enquiries service, offering support, training and guidance to team members as appropriate
  • support the Enquiries Team Leader & Interview Facilitator in the implementation of established streamlined process for interviews and provides co-ordination and support for a cross faculty/SRA process
  • manage and categorise Outlook mailboxes
  • respond to enquiries in an accurate, timely and customer-focused manner. Uses a variety of systems to support application processing and customer relationship management

    This is a full-time position working 37 hours a week on a permanent basis. Remote working is available up to 1 day a week following your initial training period.
