| Position Summary | The Emergency Management Program Coordinator supports the University at Buffalo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) by assisting with the organization, implementation, and use of the Incident Command System (ICS) for campus incidents and emergencies. Reporting to the Director of Environment Health & Safety (EH&S), this role functions in a supporting, coordination-focused capacity, providing assistance with emergency preparedness activities, response coordination, recovery planning, and continuity efforts across a large, complex academic institution. This position serves in a 24/7/365 emergency management support capacity, requiring availability outside of normal business hours to support incident response, EOC activations, and campus emergencies. Consistent with the operational and response-driven nature of emergency management functions, this position is designated as an on-site obligation and is ineligible for regular remote or telecommuting arrangements.
