If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Grade A Electrician to join
our Operations and Maintenance Team at our Curtin Kalgoorlie Campus!
Join our team and take on the responsibility of scheduling and actioning
breakdown, backlog, and preventative maintenance for our university's
electrical infrastructure.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying warranty,
maintenance, and end-of-life requirements, as well as handling contract
administration related to these maintenance activities. If you are ready to

The responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating all
maintenance requirements, managing contracts and contractor, maintaining
equipment inventory and data, monitoring maintenance plans, providing
operational training, and preparing reports.
To be successful, you will have:
Qualifications/Accreditations:
Completion of an Advanced / Post Trade Certificate or equivalent with
extensive relevant experience.
Possession of an “A” Grade electrical license.
WA Class C Driver's License.
White Card – OH&S General Induction for Construction.
Key Requirements:
Experience in contract administration within a facilities management
environment.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
present ideas, concepts and points of view in a clear, precise and logical
manner both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and solving
technical problems for all aspects of electrical maintenance, including
building plant and equipment maintenance.
Ability and confidence in the use of computer applications including
AutoCad, Microsoft Project, Office & database packages.
A great team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Additional Requirements:
Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the
role.
Based in Kalgoorlie, WA. Relocation and sponsorship support are not
available.
A level of fitness as commensurate with the position.
Ability to work outside of normal office hours on a call out roster, as
required.
