  • About the Role Make a significant impact on teaching and learning at our University! In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of education, empowering faculties to leverage technology for better teaching and learning. Join our dynamic team of educational technologists and collaborate with experts to manage and support the University's core educational technologies, from Learning Management Systems to video platforms. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping faculty leverage these tools to create engaging learning experiences for students.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical and pedagogical expertise to support learning and teaching initiatives. Focus on effective use of TEL tools and central learning technologies (LMS, SLS etc.) for the university community.
  • Troubleshooting user support issues and manage requests using ServiceNow.
  • Administering LMS sites and user accounts, collaborating with faculty and schools.
  • There may be the need for Occasional work out of ordinary hours, and for travel to attend conferences, symposia and meetings with colleagues, peers and vendors.

You'll leverage your analytical skills to solve problems and design innovative solutions that optimize service delivery. Thriving in a fast-paced team atmosphere, you'll manage your workload effectively while contributing to exceptional staff and student satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll become a knowledge leader by designing and delivering coaching and training, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

    You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record handling complex user support and consultations for online learning technologies.
  • Experience with efficient and accurate data entry, analysis, and administration of large datasets.

    This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
