Job description

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

This new full – time post is available from the 8th of July 2024 until the 23rd of May 2025 on a fixed term basis.

Summary of the role

The EAS directorate provides all the key administration and education support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher's week to Graduation. This role is within the Education Support Team which provides the core and critical operational support for teaching administration and support for delivery of taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with the ability to work under their own initiative and with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service to both young school leavers and senior employer partners. The role will have primary responsibility for the operational delivery of the recruitment process in support of a major degree apprenticeship employer partner.

Additionally, the post will specifically support tasks for our Degree Apprenticeship programmes and will be embedded within the Degree Apprenticeships Support Team. However, flexibility is expected of Education Support Administrators across the service and role-holders are asked to assist across different programme types if required.

About you

You will work effectively and flexibly within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer focused and seamless service. You will promote the consistent and correct application of processes, systems and codes of practice ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation.
