Join Curtin’s University Advancement team and play a key role in growing our community giving program and strengthening donor stewardship across the University.
About the Role:
As the Donor Experience Coordinator, you will lead the development and delivery of Curtin’s community giving program, helping to grow both the number and value of gifts while building lasting relationships with alumni, staff and the broader Curtin community.
You will manage the donor journey from awareness and prospect identification through to cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, delivering campaigns across channels including telephone, direct mail, digital appeals and staff giving.
You will also oversee Curtin’s university-wide stewardship framework, ensuring donors are recognised, engaged and feel connected to the impact of their support.

- Develop and manage innovative community giving programs and campaigns that increase alumni and staff donor participation and engagement.
- Develop communication strategies and compelling content across a range of channels and audiences.
- Use data, research and insights to inform campaign decisions, test approaches and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective donor stewardship, recognition and retention strategies.
- Build strong relationships with alumni, donors, volunteers, staff, students and other key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and support to staff involved in community giving programs, including recruitment and training.
- Monitor program performance, report on outcomes and provide recommendations to senior leaders.
- Contribute to broader fundraising campaigns and alumni engagement activities across the University.
- Proven experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies and programs, including annual giving through direct mail, telephone and online channels.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and engaging communications for diverse audiences.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage relationships, data and engagement activity.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into practical strategies.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a strong focus on delivering positive outcomes.
This is a full time, 12-month fixed term position, with a salary range between $109,277 - $117,331 (G07) per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
