About the Role

Bond University is expanding its reach and presence through the placement of 2 x Domestic Student Recruitment Managers in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively. By having these critical positions based in the market, Bond University will be able to engage more effectively with prospective students to increase enrolment conversions.

As a Domestic Student Recruitment Manager, you will lead the drive for growth in enrolments, contribute to strategic planning, and build lasting relationships with schools and other key stakeholders in the region. Key responsibilities in this varied and busy role will include:

  • Reviewing, developing and implementing student recruitment and sales strategies
  • Optimising all student recruitment opportunities through identifying growth business development opportunities

About the person

You will be a strategic and results-driven professional with strong business development and interpersonal skills. In addition, you will ideally be:

  • Dynamic, outgoing, strategic, and innovative, with a consistent focus on growth, business development and sales, with a strong commitment to working collaboratively with key University staff and business areas
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have experience in student recruitment or equivalent business development and sales experience
  • Able to successfully meet targets, enjoy building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and communicate at all levels.
  • Able to recognise the importance of the higher education sector and have a passion for working for a university focused on personalised learning and providing the best student experience.
  • Have a current Working with Children check (or equivalent for the relevant state) or ability to obtain.

Previous experience in the tertiary, registered training organisation or high school sector would be advantageous, as would an understanding of the domestic admissions and recruitment ethos at Bond.

As part of the merit-based selection process, shortlisted applicants will also complete an online Sales Team Assessment from the Executive Consulting Group.
