Position Summary:
The Director of Education and Academic Accreditation at YU Global is responsible for ensuring that the academic offerings at YU Global meet Yeshiva University's high standards for quality education and contribute to the mission of the university and YU Global, to transform lives and develop leaders. This position is an essential part of the leadership and founders' team at YU Global, the newest branch of Yeshiva University. These facets include: working with the Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development to cultivate and develop partnerships with area high schools, educational entities and corporations; development of a YU Global student and staff handbook; student application review for credit-bearing programs; the development of a credit assessment protocol for transfer and life experience credits; the development of a Bachelor's Degree completion program that is asynchronous online and competency based; the recruitment and management of content experts through the instructional design process; development of competency outcomes map for each course; ensuring that all credit-bearing programs comply with the standards set by NYSED and Middle States; managing YU Global credit-bearing programs through the accreditation process and any program revisions relative to accreditation feedback, as well as analyzing program data to provide program development guidance to the Executive Director and VP of YU Global for Strategy.
