  • About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Solution Manager (Research and Innovation) within the Information and Technology team at Swinburne.

    The Digital Solution Manager reports to the Director, Digital Technical Delivery. This role involves planning and executing solutions throughout their lifecycle, gathering, and prioritizing requirements, defining the solution vision, and collaborating with various teams to meet commercial and customer satisfaction objectives.

    The Digital Solution Manager ensures that the solution supports Swinburne's overall strategy and goals.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

    • Lead, develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in the Research and Innovation business domain, gaining the trust and respect. • Forge an effective engagement model with the business stakeholders to establish the IT team as a recognised and valued partner. • Drive customer satisfaction with IT solutions and services to improve business performance and achievement of business strategies. • Establish, develop and maintain a team of IT professionals with appropriate levels of systems analysis skills, technical expertise & solution delivery experience. • Lead, motivate and develop the team to enable a high-performance work culture that meets the current needs of the business and positions it to meet future and emerging needs. • Lead the development of solution roadmaps in collaboration with business, architecture and other teams to deliver timely value to customers • Manage the demand pipeline working in collaboration with the business stakeholders, product owners and IT teams and facilitate the prioritization

    Qualifications • Tertiary qualification in a relevant information technology discipline • Extensive experience and strong background in leadership and people management of a diverse and high performing team • Extensive experience in business analytics, strategic planning, including requirements definition and business case development
