Weston Library, Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3BG. Some remote working will be possible
The Centre for Digital Scholarship is a space and place for the Bodleian Libraries to engage, lead and shape discussions around digital scholarship practice and research within and beyond the University of Oxford.
We are looking for someone who has experience of event planning and management, who is organised and can prioritise their own work. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
In this role you will have a key role in supporting a programme of events about digital scholarship aimed at students, researchers and members of the public. You will support the planning and delivery of online and on-site events, develop and support event communications, and you will provide excellent financial and administrative support for the Centre for Digital Scholarship team.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position, working 18.75 hours per week for 3 years. We can be flexible on a working pattern incorporating up to 1 day per week working from home, when there are not events running. Some events may take place outside of normal working hours.
You will be required to upload your CV and a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one. CV's on their own will not be considered.
