  • About the Role Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge digital learning experiences that inspire and engage? Swinburne University is looking for a Digital Learning Designer to develop innovative, accessible, and impactful digital learning solutions that empower learners and educators alike.

    As part of the Education Innovation Studio, you'll collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders across the university to create high-quality digital resources that enhance the educational experience. You'll also play a vital role in supporting and guiding educators, equipping them with best practices in digital learning design and technology integration.

    The Education Innovation Exchange (EIX) sits within the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education, Experience & Employability) and is a driving force behind transforming Swinburne's learning technologies and teaching practices. Our goal? To shape the future of education and help achieve Swinburne's 2025 vision of becoming a leading university in science, technology, and innovation.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Experience in a range of elearning environments, products, and understand their suitability for different learning outcomes and audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in Articulate 360, Captivate or similar authoring tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing quality teaching and learning processes to enhance the student experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and supporting learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional development for capability building for educators.

    Qualifications A diploma level qualification and experience in education, instructional design, learning design or a related field, as well as additional relevant experience; or a comparable combination of relevant experience and/or knowledge.
