This is a full-time fixed-term position through to December 2027 with salary in the range $89,861 - $96,402 (HEW 6), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Based at our St Lucia campus
The Digital Environments Accessibility and Inclusivity Team at UQ aims to create more inclusive digital environments for all users. This role is crucial in achieving this goal. You will play a key role in developing and implementing initiatives that empower students and staff to effectively use our digital resources. This involves fostering a supportive community, building digital literacy skills, and coordinating projects across the University.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in digital accessibility to assist with the development and delivery of engaging programs and initiatives. This role will involve coordinating a range of activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and building momentum for a more inclusive digital culture across the University. You will be part of a dynamic team and have opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated interest in digital inclusivity and knowledge of WCAG standards.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in change management, communications, or a related field, with experience in inclusive design methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders across the University.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively within a team environment.
Proficient in the use of a wide range of computer applications, including task tracking solutions, Microsoft 365 Suite, and online event management systems.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
